Show Local Woman's Mother Dies At Idaho Home Mrs. Phoebe Woodward Smith, mother of Mrs. E. L. Smith of Milford Mil-ford and well known here from numerous local visits, passed away Monday afternoon at the family residence in Franklin, Idaho, after an illness of two months. Death was due to a heart ailment. She was born December 14, 1871, I at Franklin, Idaho, the daughter i of William W. and Pebecca Wright ! Woodward. In 1899 she married I Edward J. Smith of Logan. She j is survived by her husband, a son, I William E. Smith of Franklin; a I daughter, Mrs. Gwendolyn S. Smith qf Milford; three grandchildren, grand-children, and the following brothers bro-thers and sisters: Ivan, Cecil and Garnet Woodward, Mrs. Dora W. Aitken of Franklin, and Mrs. Ruth W. Foster of Whitney, Idaho. Funeral services were to be held in the Franklin ward chapel Thursday Thurs-day at 2:00 p.m. with interment in the Franklin cemetery. |
