Show Firemen's Show Is Complete Success The entertainment given in the high school auditorium Wednesday night for the benefit of the Milford Mil-ford Volunteer Fire department and under the sponsorship of the high school, was eminently successful suc-cessful from a financial standpoint and also as a very fine show. In, addition, the announced purpose of the entertainment the raising of funds with which to join . the state association and thus be able to participate in insurance and other benefits has met with a fine response in the way of direct cash contributions, including a $20 check from former Senator George Jefferson and- $5 checks from' M. H. Pool and Ross C. Palmer. Wednesday night's entertainment entertain-ment included numbers by high school talent, an amateur contest in which some six entries participated, partici-pated, with Walt Martin officiating officiat-ing as master of ceremonies in his inimitable manner, and a minstrel show by members, of the department, a clever and well prepared presentation. |
