Show Local Lad Wins In Marble Tourney Sweeping aside all competition in his class in the district marble playing tournament at Cedar City, Lindsay Waddingham, 10, of Milford Mil-ford proceeded on to bhe state teurney at Ogden and is reported to have won fourth place in state competition. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. L. B. Waddingham and is also well up in his studies at the local elementary school, according to the teachers. The marble playing tournaments were staged as activities of the recreation division of W P A, according ac-cording to Stan McKnight of Min-ersville, Min-ersville, county director. Winners in the county tournament at Beaver Bea-ver were Bud Carter of Miners-ville Miners-ville and Jay Rollins of Beaver, in class A; and young Waddingham and Vance Marshall of Minersville in class B. The latter also went to to the Ogden tournament. Beaver county youngsters who took part in the county tourney at Class A Joy Rollins, Roy Patterson, Pat-terson, Merril Edwards, Beaver; Tine Bingham, Charles English, Marion Banks, Milford; Bud Canter, Can-ter, Kenneth Roberts, Bob Dotson, Minersville.
