Show Milford Pitcher Is Batting .714 In 4 League Games Claude Horton, well known Mil-'ford Mil-'ford baseball pitcher, with a bathing bat-hing percentage of .714 hung up in four games of the Millard-Beaver league, is establishing something of a record as the leader of a bunch of sluggers that are "hitting albout everything offered by opposing op-posing pitchers in the league, at the same time doing a good job of pitching for his home town. Howard "Butch" Tanner, another ano-ther home boy, is hard on the heels of Horton, however, with a percentage of .700. Steed, brilliant bril-liant C C C pitcher-slugger, is fourth on the list with a percentage percent-age of .522 but just ahead of him appears another CCD lad, 'Mc-Carty, 'Mc-Carty, who, though appearing in only two league games, seems to have an uncanny knack with thu bat and runs the bases like a deei according to Manager J.
