These fish wore rainbow trout anil only about one half inch long. A shipment of eyed eggs was soon niul from then on shipments were to arrive as fast as they could he handled. j Mr. and Mrs. P. A. Baxter were iviven a surprise party at their home by the Eastern Star and their husbands. Those present were Mr. nnil Mrs. William Cochrane, Coch-rane, Mr. and Mrs. Suniliford, Mr. nnd Mrs. George JePflerson, Mr. ntnl Mrs. Moore, Mr. and Mrs. C. 0. Sloan, Mr. and Mrs. Korns. Mesdames Sterling, Williams, Jefferson, Jef-ferson, Ulumberg, Fernley and Boyter and the Misses Plumer and Youn.ur. Mr. and Mrs. William Sterling were delightfully entertained by the members of the B. of L. E. and their wives, the occasion being the SOth wixlding anniversary of the Sterlings. Tile hiirh school hill had been the scene of a merry coasting party. Those enjoying the occasion were Mr. and Mrs. Clark Kesler, Mr. and Mrs. George Fernley, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Kinnev, and Mr. and Mrs. H. W. McCarty. . j Miss Mary Roper was very pleasantly surprised by a crowd of friends the affair being a handkerchief hand-kerchief shower in honor cf her birthday. Those present were Mesdames Mes-dames Tribole, Copeland, V. Palmer. Palm-er. Lewis, Cochrane, Sterling, R. Co'trell, Daniels, Bohn, Korns, J. Chilton and Jefferson and the Misses Plummer and Chaniler-lain. Chaniler-lain. The Silver Tea had met with Mrs. Ray Outzen. The afterno-n was spent with Eewing and social chat and music by Mrs. Milton Pool and Mrs. Joe Tribole. Those present were Mrs. A. Fothering-ham, Fothering-ham, Mrs. George Scaffer. Mrs. Phil Orwin. Mrs. Charles Schow, I Mrs. L. G. Clay, Mrn. Marie Moore, Mrs. Yam Johnson, Mrs. Wallace Outzen. Mrs. Pool and Mrs. Joe Tribole. Helen Hickman and Delia Kirk had given a surprise party for Miss Thelma Rogers in honor of her ltth birthday. There were 26 uests present. There had been born to Mr. and Mrs. lee Gray, a baby girl; to Mr. and Mrs. Bill Denny, a girl on January Jan-uary 27; Mr. and Mrs. James Thompson, a boy on January 29, and Mr. and Mrs. S. Jones, a son on January 2S. |
