Show 'Teen Canteen Project Discussed By P.-T.A. Because it is an objective and responsibility of the parent-teacher movement to see that every child has a wholesome recreational life, R. E. Foerster brought the plan for the Teen-Canteen to Milford P.-T. A . meeting Monday night for discussion. He also asked that the organization be responsible for the supervision of the canteen. After much discussion, the P.-T.A expressed a vote of thanks to Mr. Foerster, B: S. Hillman, Frank Leffler and Frost Merrill for their interest in the boys and girls. The discussion ended with a decision for the executive board of the group to appoint a committee commit-tee for the purpose of further study of the P.-T. A.'s participation participa-tion in the canteen. The executive 'board is meeting Thursday evening for this purpose. As the time was short, Mrs. Vena Wilson felt that justice could not be done to her review of "The Nazarene" in the time left. Therefore, Mr. Farrer, as principal of the high school, asked her to igive this review at the high school, Sunday, March 11, at 4:00 p.m. Music will be furnished by the high school music department in conjunction with the review. |
