Show Tinder Funeral Is Held At Eureka Funeral services were held at Eureka Sunday for William H. Tinder, 50, who died the preceding Thursday morning at his home in Milford. Death was due to lung trouble, the result of long service in metal mines of the state. Interment In-terment took place in Silver City. Mr. Tinder was born at Lewis-ton Lewis-ton (later Mercur) May 16, 1880, a son of Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Tinder. Tin-der. He went to Silver City as a small boy with his parents and most of his life was spent in the Tintic district, where he followed mining as an occupation. A few years ago he moved to Milford, where he had since made his home except for visits with his son and daughter in Eureka. He was married to Mary White May 22, 1928, at Fillmore and she survives him, together with a son, Gordon Tinder, and la daughter, Mrs. V'ern Rife, of Eureka; two step-sons, Henry White of Santa Monica, California, and Marcellus White of Palmdale, California; a step-daughter, Marjorie White of Milford; also two step-sisters, Mrs. Libbie Tolman and Mrs. Sadie Hickman of Silver City; two stepbrothers, step-brothers, Mart Keplinger of Butte, Montana and Andy Keplinger of Pocatello, Idaho; and five grandchildren. |
