Show MINERSVILLE Clem Hollingshead is here from Arizona as a guest at the Mervin Edwards home. Mrs. Rachel Marshall has as a guest her sister,. Mrs. Lydia lloldaway of Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Nicholes and family of Antimony were week-end guests at the Thomas Mathews home. Thomas Gillins announces the marriage of his son Eldon to Miss Lucy Muir of Beaver. Mrs. Clair Gillins and children have returned home after spending spend-ing two weeks at Yermo, California. Califor-nia. A baby clinic was held Tuesday morning at the Relief Society hall. Children up to six years of age were examined. Babtismal services were held Sunday afternoon at the Radium warm springs, several being babtized. Wednesday evening a band concert con-cert was held on the high school lawn under the direction of LaVar Isaacson, instructor, Mr. Isaacson and family leaving the next day on a vacation. Thursday nig-ht at the Radium warm springs, the Beaver high school band gave a concert. A swimming contest was also held with people from the different towns in the county participating. Members of the Primary Stake board from Beaver met here Friday Fri-day night with the Primary officers of-ficers and teachers to teach them the- dances that were demonstrated demonstrat-ed at the June conference, after which rereshments were served. O. L. Pearson has returned home after spending the past six week at Berkeley, California, where he has attended summer school. o |
