Show I " ! MINERSVILLE i i Funera services were held ! Wednesday, March 20, for Mrs. j Ethel Booth Goff, with Bishop Charles K. Jameson taring charge, i The speakers were S. M. Wittwer, F. D. Williams, Truman V. Rollins ' and C. K. Jameson. Musical numbers num-bers included selections by the choir, a vocal duet by Alvaretta Robinson and. lljpan Jameson; a vocal solo by Lucy Williams and a violin solo by Reese Griffith. The invocation was offered by Leonard Banks and the benediction by Jesse Baker. Interment took place in the local cemetery. Mrs. Goff is survived by her husband, Lorin Goff sr., the followng children: chil-dren: Mrs. Annis Zamalloa of St. George, Mrs. Alex Stevens of Montpelier, Idaho; and Lorin jr., Kay, Steve, Isabell, James, Colleen Col-leen and Betty Jane Goff, all of Minersville; five granddaughters; a sister, Mrs. Rose Schillings of Sparks, Nevada; and two brothers, Kay and Lawrence Booth of Salt Lake City. A number of out of town relatives attended the funeral. fu-neral. Funeral services were held Sunday Sun-day in the L. D. S. ward chapel for Eva Stoddard, Bishop C. K. Jameson taking charge. Tamleson, Musical numbers included choir numbers, a vocal trio by Jesse, Harold and Delos Baker; a vocal solo by Vella Ruth Hafen; and a violin solo by Reese Griffith. The invocation was offered by Floyd B. Wood and the benediction by Mcroni Myers. Interment took place in Minersville cemetery. Miss Stoddard is survived by a sister, Mrs. Jane Bingham of Los Angeles, and several nieces and nephews. A number of out of town people attended the services. iMr. and Mrs. Stanley Fisher and son Phil of Midvale spent the week-end here as the guests of Mrs. M. D. Zabriskie. Miss Zoe Ball of Lehi visited here Sunday with her grandparents, grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Fo-theringham. Fo-theringham. Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Eyre and children, Elaine and DeRay, of Las Vegas, Nevada, spent the week-end here. Mrs. Thurman Eyre is a patient at the Iron County hospital at Cedar City, where she was operated operat-ed on for appendicitis. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph McKnight of Salt Lake City are guests at the F. D. Williams home. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Fox and family of Tooele spent Sunday in Minersville. A number of people from here attended the pageant Sunday at Zion national park. Mrs. L. E. Murdock was called to Richfield Sunday on account of the death of her sister, Mrs. Hawley. She was accompanied by Mrs. E. H. Murdock and Mrs. James W. Eyre. Joseph H. Myers of Milford visited relatives here Sunday. tvt . |
