Show F1RMAGEJHEATRE Friday and Saturday A thrilling and soul-stirring picture pic-ture of America's struggle against England during the War of 1812 is presented by Cecil B. DeMille in his latest historical epic, "The Buccaneer", which comes to the Firmage theatre Friday and Saturday Satur-day with Fredric March in the title role. It is a mighty panorama pano-rama of a crucial period in history, his-tory, showing the burning ot Washington, the Louisiana of the picturesque Creole days, and the defense of New Orleans by General Gen-eral Jackson. March is seen as a pirate who turns out to be a hero when he realizes that his adopted country, the United States, is in danger of destruction. His sweetheart, sweet-heart, Margot Grahame, a NJeiw Orleans belle, stimulates his patriotism pat-riotism by insisting that he becomes be-comes respectable before their marriage. Sunday and Monday Summing up in its strikingly realistic sitory the lives and careers of all stage struck girls everywhere, RKO Radio's "Stage Door" brings Katharine Hepburn and Ginger Rogers together for "the first time, with Adolph Menjou co-starred at the head of a fine cast. The picture is based on the famous stage play which ran for nearly half a year in New York, and is said to offer the stars their finest screen opportunity to date. Most of its vividly absorbing action ac-tion takes place in a theatrical 'boarding house where scores ot eager and ambitious girls live and hope and sometimes perish while they strive for fame behind the footlights. Tuesday and Wednesday One of the most amusing of this season's comedy dramas comes to this theatre Tuesday and Wednesday Wednes-day in "Paradise for Three". The novel plot is carried out to perfection per-fection by the excellent perform- ! ance of Frank Morgan, Robert Young, Mary Astor, Edna May Oliver and others. Morgan portrays por-trays the rich capitalist who wins a contest and as a reward is sent to an Alpine resort for two weeks.
