Show CHRIST1ANSCIENCE "God" is the subject of the Christian Science lesson-sermon for Sunday, July 5. Among the Scriptural references are: "Praise ye the Lord: for it is good to sing praises unto our God. He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds. He sendeth forth his commandment upon earth: his word runneth very swiftly." (Ps. 147: 1, 3, 15 . "Thine, O Lord, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty." (I Chron. 29: 11). "The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are everlasting arms:" (Deut. 33: 27). The following excerpts are from Science and Health with Key to .Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy: "God is what the Scriptures declare, de-clare, Him to be, Life, Truth, Love." (p. 330: 19, 20). "The precise form of God must be of small importance in comparison with the sublime question, What is infinite Mind or divine Love?" (p. 296: 16-18). "Unless the harmony har-mony and immortality of man are becoming more apparent, we are not gaining the true idea of God; and the body . will reflect what governs it, whether it be Trutth or error, understanding or belief, Spirit or matter."
