Show Funeral Is Held ForE.E.Nebeker Funeral services were held in Salt Lake Tuesday for Ernest E Nebeker, 67, veteran Union Pacific Paci-fic brakeman, who dropped dead just before boarding No. 7 after serving as flagman in the local yard last Friday afternoon. The services were conducted by George D. Parkinson, bishop ot the 22nd L. D. S. ward and interment inter-ment took place in City cemetery. Speakers were Levi Edgar Young, Alvin A. Beesley and Harry Jackson, Jack-son, the latter a fellow brakeman. Mr. Nebeker was born in Salt Lake City April 15, 1870, the son of George and Elizabeth Dihvorth Nebeker. He had been an employe of the railroad for 40 years. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Lucy Armstrong Nebeker; a son, Elwood E. Nebeker of New York City; two daughters, Mrs. Lucille Crane of New York City, and Miss Ida Nebeker of Salt Lake City; a sister, Mrs. Samuel W. Stewart, and three brothers, B. D., M. L. andr W. D. Nebeker, all of Salt Lake City. |
