Show Active Rebekah Dies In Salt Lake Milford community again was saddened Tuesday when it became known generally that Mrs. Sarah Mumford (Sadie) Litchfield, wife of George Litchfield, local barber, had died the evening before. Death occurred at 7:25 o'clock Monday as she was enroute to a Salt Lake hospital after a heart attack which had seized her at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Meleher, former Milford residents and relatives of the family. Mrs. Litchfield, who had been subject to recurrent spells of illness ill-ness for several years, had appear-er appear-er to be in better health the past past few weeks and accompanied Bob Tomsik and others when they motored to Salt Lake City Friday of last week. Wednesday morning the body was brought to Milford by V. Wod-doups, Wod-doups, representing the Southern Utah Mortuary, and arrangements have been m a d e for holding funeral services Friday at 1 o'clock in the Milford L. D. S. chapel, with interment to take place at Cedar City. A native of Parowan, Mrs. Litchfield Litch-field is survived by her husband and three daughters, Mrs. Mont Griffiths, Mrs. Julian Arnold, both of Milford, and Mrs. Roy Easton of Caliente, Nevada; two brothers, Thomas and Robert Mumford of Cedar City; and eight grandchildren. |
