V - "- ; - X1 I , . zy 1 Few visitors to the old mission in Santa Barbara, Calij., know that the friars tcho wear the cotcled brown robes of the order of St. Francis of Assisi, are not merely part of the atmosphere, but actually perform numerous tasks for the Church.
