The guests were members of the Man Jongj; club. Those present pre-sent were Mrs. Farmer, Mrs. Kinney, Kin-ney, Mrs. Fernley, Mrs. Newhart, Mrs. Parrish, Mrs. Markham, Mrs.j Sloan, Mrs. Murdock, Mrs. Kirk,' Mrs. Pool and Mrs. Theissen. j A new sewing club had been j organized at the home of Miss Alice Ward. The girls had spent aj pleasant evening sewing for their hope chest. Mrs. W. W. Markham had given a very pretty little party in honor of the fifth birthday of her son Billy. Those present were Gordon Murdock, Marie Carlson, Barbara Parrish and David Lewis. The following were chosen to serve upon the election board, November No-vember 3: Mrs. John Smithson, Mrs. Ralph Quayle and E. R. Smith. Miss'Allena Edwards and Miss Arvilla Muir had given a Hallowe'en Hal-lowe'en party Those present were Mrs. Ella Edwards, Mr. and Mrs. Warren Atkin, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Stonehocker, Gertrude Baxter, Macel Rogers, Bessie Killam, La-Rue La-Rue Davis, Mary Vincent, Iretta Atkin, Rulon Bird, Alfred Horton, Norman Kirtz, Dave Glenn, Mel-vin Mel-vin Stanley, Ray Mills, Vic Carlson, Carl-son, Lavon Bird, Warren Fernley, Dewey Nelson and Leonard Muir. Steve Stoker and Lee Gray, accompanied ac-companied by little Albert Raines, had been deer hunting in the hills northwest of Frisco and had the misfortune to have their entire camp destroyed by fire while they were away. Misses Louise Levi and Macel Rogers had entertained in honor of Miss Frances Ann Sloan, who was to attend the University of Utah that winter. Those present were Misses Ardath Johnson, Bessie Bes-sie Killam, Christie McLeod, Beryl Young, Mary Vincent, LaRua Davis. Mav Kohler. Jennie Price. Gwen McGhie, Umo Sloan, Mrs. W. Pitts, Dorothy and Phyllis Levi. Mrs. Joe Kinney and Miss Irene Tanner had entertained in honor of their mother, Mrs. Eb Tanner. Those present were Mrs. Antone Johnson, Mrs. William Miller, Mrs. Root, Mrs. Lottie Smith, Mrs. William- Fernley, Mrs. Karl Levi, Mrs. Fred . Levi, Mrs. Dave Tanner and Mrs. James Lang. Mrs. M. Edwards had given a party for her small daughter Al-meda. Al-meda. The guests present were Margaret Miller, Charlotte Farmer, Farm-er, Carol Chilton, Beverly Vincent, Marie and Barbara Louis, Dorothy Campbell, D-onaly Campbell, Joe Kinney, Jimmie Jones and Douglas Farnow. The Despair Barrel club had been entertained by Miss Dorothy Turley and Miss Eva Bowman. The members were Alice Schow, Ardella Stirling, Delia Kirk, Reva Lynn, Leah Smith, Valna and Fern Hickman, .-Thelma Rogers, Alice From Issues of October 23 and 30. Candidates on two tickets to be voted on in the town election in November were as. follows. Good Government ticket For mayor, Joe Smith; for members of Town board, C. R. Parrish, William Miller, Charles A. Bailey and Antone Johnson; committee authorized to fill vacancies, W. W. Markham, Joe Tribole and W. R. Martin. Progressive ticket For mayor, O. F. Hubbell; for members of Town board, L. G. Clay, Joe Murdock, Mur-dock, George Litchfield and Frank Farmer; committee authorized to fill vacancies, Myron Lewis, Joe Kinney and George Jefferson. Paul S., infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Hickman, had died October Oc-tober 19. Service had been held at the home. I The Business and Professional i Women's club had given a shower for Miss Mildred Fotheringham, who was to be married in November. Novem-ber.
