Show The average newspaper annually prints community service ser-vice material valued at $18,666 in advertising rate terms alone, Prof. Clifford F. Weigle, Stanford university, estimated esti-mated recently in an address before the Stockton Lions' club. The statement was based on a three-year survey which showed non-metropolitan newspapers devoting 645 pictures and 94,000 column inches to public service material. At prevailing pre-vailing advertising rates, the material would be worth $56,000. |
