S'.ahmann has arrived at the supervisor's headquarters of tile Nevada national forest at Fly to take over the Sprii.g Valley forest for-est ranger district with headquarters head-quarters at lEy. Mr. Stahmann graduated from the University of Wa-hington in 1933 and since that time has worked with the Inter-mountain Inter-mountain Forest and Range Experiment Ex-periment station in grazing studies at the Desert Experiment Station west of Milford and on other study projects. Mr. Stahmann's knowledge know-ledge of grazing conditions as applying ap-plying to the Nevada ranges, both summer and winter, will qualify him to handle grazing conditions of any kind on the forest. The ranger district at Baker, Nevada, has recently been filled by Sylvan D. Warner, who graduated gradu-ated during the summer from the forestry school at the Utah Agricultural Agri-cultural college. Mr. Warner has also worked with the Intermoun-tain Intermoun-tain Forest and Range Experiment station for several years and formerly had a wide experience in range management. n |
