Show Half-Million For Utah Range Aid Approximately $500,000 of benefit bene-fit payments for soil conservation practices will be alloted holders of Utah range lands, it was forecast by soil conservation service officials of-ficials the first of the week. ' Between $2,000,000 and $3,000,-000 $3,000,-000 will be allotted ranchers and stockmen in 12 western states, including in-cluding Utah, Colorado, Kansas, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Washington, Wyoming Wyo-ming and Idaho. The approved practices and the rates of pay are: Contouring, CO cents per acre. Developing of springs and seeps, $50 each. Reservoirs for holding rainfall, 15 cents per cubic yard of excavation excava-tion or fill.
