Carl-son. A farewell dinner had been given at the Milford hotel in honor of Earl Lynch and Clyde Caster-1 line, who were leaving Milford. Those present were Messrs. Lynch, Casterline, Evans, Greenwood, ! Fournier, Outzen, Ward, Cline, Jefferson and Hanks. The M. I.' A. had held a conjoint meeting with Joseph Smith, Miss j Juanita Miller, Walter Griffiths,; Lillian Stoker, Ora Edwards and ; Marp oBnner taking part. Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Sterling hnd entertained for Mr. and Mrs. William Wil-liam Cochrane, Mr. and Mrs. James Glenn and Mr. and Mrs. James Boyter. Mrs. William Dobson had entertained enter-tained the Ladies bridge club with the following present: Mrs. J. Hay-mond, Hay-mond, Mrs. Charles Moore, Mrs. Heber Hanks, Mrs. George Spetti-gue, Spetti-gue, Mrs. J. McKay, Mrs. C. C. Sloan and Mrs. E. A. Olson. Charles Decker had returned from a business trip to Texas. Miss Haskell, a sister of C. G. Haskell, had arrived from the Philippines, where she had been teaching school, and was visiting "with her brother. Tom Martin had resigned as a member of the town board to accept ac-cept the position of postmaster in place of Funis Jones. U. D. Zook had been appointed to fill the vacancy va-cancy on the town board caused by Martin's resignation. |
