Show Milford High School On election day, November 5, the Milford band gave a concert on Main street for the public. Our band, under the supervision of Mr. Clark, has shown much improvement improve-ment since the beginning of the school year, and both teacher and students show cooperation, both for school work and public service. ser-vice. It is to be hoped that Milford Mil-ford can boast of a great band in the years to come. One of the Seniors who is beginning be-ginning to show much interest about school is winsome Marie Mastros, who devotes much time in preparation for vocal solos along with her school work. She also has an office period, during which she arranges the absentee list for each day. Tuesday, November 19, a great national play group is coming to Milford with a three act comedy, and it is expected to be one of the finest performances that has come in many years. It is a high class play presented 'by professional profes-sional players. We invite the public pub-lic to join us at 8:00 p.m. as the curtain rises on the thrilling comedy. The Agricultural department, under the direction of Jean Fugal, is out ;n the limelight to promote ! a greater F. F. A. club within the I high school; also to stimulate the ; spirit of young would-be farmers, who are developing a keen sense i of appreciation of possibilities 1 that lie within the soil and im-' im-' provement of farm methods. Everywhere in scientific research we are coning more and more to the realization that poor soil can become rich by scientific treat-I treat-I ment so that new farmers can I take plant food from the soil and ! at the same time enrich it. Inci- dentally, the farmers are still the |
