Show Funeral Held For Mrs. WJ1. Davis Funeral services were held at Minersville Tuesday afternoon for Mrs. William H. Davis, 57, who passed away Friday night after a long period of illness, during the last several months of which she had been bedfast in the local hospital. hos-pital. Bishop Alvin H. Baker of Milford, a relative of the deceased, deceas-ed, made the arrangements for the services, which were conducted by Bishop Charles K. Jameson of Minersville, with burial taking place in the Minersville cemetery under the direction of the Southern Sou-thern Utah Mortuary. iSpeakers at the services were State Senator Frank D. Williams and Bishop Baker. Musical numbers num-bers included two quartet selections, selec-tions, a duet by Alveretta Robinson Robin-son and Aileen Jameson and a violin solo by Harold Baker. The opening prayer was offered by former Bishop George H. Eyre and the benediction by Jesse Baker, Bak-er, while the grave dedication was by Bishop Baker. Mrs. Grace Baker Davis was bom November 28, 1882, at Minersville, Min-ersville, the daughter of George and Mary Ann Evans Baker. She grew to young womanhood in that community and was married to Mr. Davis August 16, 1903. The young couple made their home in Minersville until about 20 years ago, when they came to Milford, making their home here since that time and being numbered among tihe community's best citizens. citi-zens. Surviving Mrs. Davis are her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Er-ma Er-ma Neill of Ely, Nevada and Mrs. La Rue Ashworth of Long Beach, California; a son, Myles Davis of Ely; a brother, George Baker, of Minersville; and a sister, Mrs. Mary Tinder, of Los Angeles.
