Show m Two Elderly Men Die During Week Two elderly men who have made Milford their home for varying periods of time passed away this week of causes incident to their advancing years. James Wlnf ield Underhill, 86, a native of Ohio, died Wednesday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Carl Elmer, in South Milford; while Alonzo Lercy Holt, 65, a native of Tor-rey, Tor-rey, died Tuesday at the home of his son, Owen Holt. Mr. Holt had made his home in Beaver county at various times during the past 15 years or , so, having been engaged in herding sheep a go:d share of the time, living at Adamsville at first and later at Milford. Funeral services are being held Friday afternoon in the Milford L. D. S. ward chapel, with interment in the local cemetery. ceme-tery. Mr. Underhill and his wife were among the early settlers of Delta, axing there from Nebraska when the project was first getting underway. un-derway. Following the death of. his wife he had made his home with his daughter in Milford a large part of the time. Funeral services are to be held Saturday in the Community church at Delta with burial in the Delta cemetery. U |
