Show CHRIST1ANSCIENCE "Mind" is the subject of the lesson les-son sermon to le read by the Christian Science society in Milford Mil-ford Sunday, August 22. Among the Scriptural citations is the following: "Then Peter said. Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. And he took him (the lame man) by the right hand and lifted him up: and immediately immediate-ly his feet and ankle bones received re-ceived strength. And all the people peo-ple saw him walking and praising God" (Acts 3: 6, 7, 9). Correlative to the citations is the following from "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" Scrip-tures" by Mary Baker Eddy: "If action proceeds from the divine Mind, action is harmonious. If it I comes from erring mortal mind, it is discordant and ends in sin, sickness, death. Those two opposite oppo-site sources never mingle in fount or stream. The perfect Mind send-forth send-forth perfection, for God is Mind-' (p. 23ft). |
