Show A TOTAL LOSS A man who owns a seasonal business but who spends about one hundred dollars a year in advertising says that he has learned one thing from experience that has cost him money as so much experience does. He says he has learned that advertising money spent for anything else but space in the local newspaper is almost a dead loss. He says he tried other methods which were sold to him by smooth-talking salesmen, but none of them produced results. The difference between newspaper advertising and other advertising, says this man who has learned from experience, is that the newspaper news-paper is read carefully by nearly everyone who takes it plus & large number who borrow it each week while other forms of advertising are thrown away without reading. The fact that more money is spent each year for newspaper advertising advertis-ing than for all other forms of advertising combined also indicates in-dicates that if you want to get the most for your advertising money then the newspaper is the medium to spend it with. r |
