Show State Is Visited ity Auxiliary Head Mrs. Hazel Miller of Des Moines, Iowa, national president of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, Auxil-iary, apent the fore part of the week in Salt Lake City on a tour j on a tour of several states an official of-ficial business. I .State officials met with Mrs. 'Miller Tuesday morning and in the afternoon she conducted a school of instruction for department depart-ment officers and members of Auxiliaries throughout the state j who were present. In the evening a banquet was enjoyed by Veteran of Foreign Wars Auxiliary members mem-bers and their partners at the Newhouse hotel. Wednesday Mrs. Miller visited the Salt Lake veterans vet-erans hospital and Wednesday 'afternoon, in company with Utah Auxiliary workers,, toured Bush- jnell general hospital. She proceeded pro-ceeded to Denver Wednesday night. ! Mrs. Minnie A. Gordon, Salt Lake City, president, Utah Veterans Vet-erans of Foreigm Wars Auxiliary, directed the Salt Lake conference. Attending the meeting from Milford were Mrs. O. R. Smith and Mrs. David S. Williams, district No. 6 Auxiliary president and secretary, and Mrs. C. P. Decker, former department president. |
