Show SOUTH MILFORD i j Mr. and Mrs. Carl Elmer and two ; sons and J. W. Underhill left last ! Friday morning by motor to spend ! the holidays with relatives and j friends in Delta and Salt Lake. Mrs. C. W. Johnston and baby ; came home from the hospital on j Christmas eve. I The Merrymakers club went caroling carol-ing on Christmas eve, visiting almost ! every home on the Flat with their ! cheerful young voices. j Mrs. Addison Bybee and daughters, Alice and Kathryn, were dinner guests on Christmas day at the W. C. Cates home.. Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Matheson of Cedar City spent Christmas day with Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Jones and Mrs. Cornel, Mrs. Matheson's. mother. Mitchell Fisher and Horace Palmer jr. remained in Logan for the holidays. holi-days. These enterprising students each had a good job which loomed larger to them than holidays with the home folks. A meeting was called for Sunday afternoon at the club house for the purpose of securing a P. W. A. project pro-ject on the Flat. The meeting adjourned ad-journed to Milford but as yet no decision de-cision has been reached. The Social Hour club will meet on January 4 for the annual election of officers. Try to be present at this important meeting. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan McKnight and Miss Loretta Murdock were hosts at Christmas dinner to the Victor Myers and Claud Myers families. Later they all attended the dance in j Minersville. j The Christmas party at the club j house last Saturday evening, given bv the Social Hour club for the chil-' chil-' dren proved a very gay and success-, success-, ful affair. The club house was pack-! pack-! ed to caDacity with grownups and ; eager chijilren. After a short im-j im-j promtu program Santa Claus ap-! ap-! peared beside the sparkling Christ- ma s tree, delivering candy and oranges and taking orders for dolls ; and tovs. The ,young people spent an I hour in dancing and all went home-; home-; ward feeling that this was as pleas-j pleas-j ant a party as ever had been held at the club house. |
