Show MARTINEZ AGAIN MADE PRESIDENT i i Frank Martinez of Richfield, presi-1 dent of the Associated Civic Clubs of! Southern Utah some four years ago,i and under whom the organization j hiade exceptional headway, was re-i elected to that position Saturday at'; a postponed meeting held in Rich-: field for that purpose. George Jeffer- son of Milford and a Mr. Love of;' Saint George were elected as vice-; presidents at the same meeting, the; selection of a secretary to rest withj, the new president. Mr. Jefferson j and L. A. Wynaught attended thei meeting as directors from Beaver . county and report a probable renewal renew-al of interest in the problems of , southern Utah, the solution of many of which has been accomplished by this organization in the past. The designation for improvement of the Beaver-Milford-Ely highway, to connect Lehman caves with the ; , southern Utah parks, was given u-j j nanimous approval by the meeting at Richfield, the association going on record to this effect. The next meeting of the associa-j ' tion is scheduled to be held in Saint; George on January 9, and likely will be a well-attended one if weather conditions permit. |
