Miss Ethel Hearn, who has been ill for the past few weeks, is able to be up and around again. Mrs. Colis Thompson of Pioche, Nevada, is here visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Mastros. F. A. Stewart, popular manager of the local feed store, had his tonsils removed Monday. Mrs. 0. R. Smith attended the American Legion Auxiliary convention conven-tion in Salt Lake over the week-end. G. A. Day, relief operator at the airways radio range, has been joined here by his wife, who arrived Tuesday Tues-day from Moab. Milton Genty and J. L. Ferris of Beaver were in Milford Monday, doing missionary work for the L. D. S. church. Mrs. W. H. . Davis and son, Miles, left Saturday for an extended visit with her daughter, LaRue, and family at Long Beach, California. ' J. S. Cox. Judge Cox presided pre-sided over the fifth judicial district and his many friends in Milford sympathize with him and Mrs. Cox' in their loss. Mrs. Foyer Olsen and two baby sons of Cedar City are now cozily domiciled in the Forgie apartments while Mr. Olsen is employed as operator of one of the trucks used in connection with the Pine valley desert range project. The two babies are the healithy young survivors sur-vivors of the set of triplets born to Mr. and Mrs. Olsen at Cedar City in November, 1932, an event that was given wide publicity at the time. The third babe, a daughter, died soon after birth. |
