Show MINERSVILLE Mr. and Mrs. Blain Roberts and daughter, of Pioche Nevada, were week-end guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Banks. Evan Cottom of Veyo spent the first part of the week here as the guest of Miss Iona Hall. Miss Arlinda Price had as weekend week-end guests her parents Mr. and Mrs. Price of Salt Lake City, they were accompanied back by Miss Price who has spent the past school year here as a high school teacher. Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Wood and sons Neil and Alfred have moved here from Peterson. Mrs. Adleine Walker of Pioche Nevada, visited relatives here Saturday. Satur-day. Miss Marjorie Young of Milford is here with relatives. The Misses Mildred and Nomia Young, of Richfield have been guests at the O. S. Pearson home for the past week. Mrs. Mary Craw of Pioche Nevada Nev-ada spent the week-end here with relatives. rel-atives. Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Graff had as guests over the week-end Mr. and Mrs. Elgin Graff and baby of Santa Clara. Miss Bertha Evans and sons Wil-liard Wil-liard and Howard of South Milford, spent a few days here with relatives. Mr. Lloyd Hardman of American Folk, called on friends here Monday. Mr. and Mrs. A. 0. Hardy announces announ-ces the engagement of their daughter Ruby to Delos Baker, son of Mr. and .Mrs.' H. F. Baker. Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Hall and Truman Tru-man Bradfivld attended the M. I. A. contests at St. George Monday. Miss Marion White contested at St. George Monday as a represenative from the Gleaner girls class. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hall and Miss Lillian Carter spent Monday at St. George, Mr. Hall and Miss Carter danced in the M. I. A. contest dance. Mr. and Mrs. 0. Moore of Thermo, were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jameson, Thursday of lat week. Mrs. Vernetta McKnight was the honored guest at a shower Monday night, the time being spent in playing play-ing progressive games after which supper was served to twenty guests. Many lovely gifts were served. |
