Show Community M. E. Chnrch In the Christian calendar there are a number of days that have special significance. Next Sunday begins what is known as Passision week. It nas oeen so named because this weeK will be the anniversary of the last days that Jesus spent on earth. They were spent in and around Jerusalem. Jesus was supposed to have been crucified cru-cified on the cross at high noon. After Af-ter death came he was removed to the tomb at three o'clock. It has long been the custom in many of the churches of Christendom to emphasise emphas-ise the meaning of Jesus to them to spend these three hours in meditation. medita-tion. So, to carry out the spirit of this beautiful tradition, the church will be open to those who may wish to so spend a portion of their time there. You may come and go in quiteness at your pleasure. At ten minutes before the hours before one, two and three o'clock p. m., those who feel the need of a nearer fellowship fellow-ship with God, will be invited to re-j re-j ceive the elements in the Holy sacra-I sacra-I ment of The Lord's supper. Again at 7:30 p. m., the Holy communion com-munion of the Lords supper will be offered to those who find it more convenient con-venient to come at that hour than the earlier hour. At sunrise Sunday morning, April 16, we are having a special Easter Worship service. We give all a cordial cor-dial invitation to attend this service. Regular services next Sunday. April 10.
