Show APPEALS TO BE HEARDBY C.W.A. , The following unsigned com-! com-! munication comes to The News from some Beaver source, presumably for publication, ; In compliance with a request from I Washington and in order to satisfy, ; as far as possible, complaints aris- j ! ing in the conduct of C. W. A., we are arranging a program under which complaints may be promptly and adequately taken care of. We wish it to be known to the workers and local administrations that any man who is dismissed for any reason from a C. W. A. project has the right of appeal before the county C. W. A. and a right to be represented before that board by a representative of his own selection.! This is undertaken in a spirit of fair-1 ness and in order that our people j may not be denied rights that arei given them in the courts. Therefore, all those people who have been dismissed from C. W. A. or have been denied relief for which they have applied will be given an opportunity to appear before the county committee for a hearing. They should file a request with the central office and when a sufficient number of requests are on file to warrant the calling together of the committee, a time will be set and those people notified so that they may appear and present their grievances griev-ances to the board. |
