Show FUNERAL IS HELD ! FORWRSJIANDLEYj Funeral services wore held (Sunday (Sun-day afternoon in the new L. D. S. hall for Mrs. Merwyn I Bud) Hand-; ley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. II. E. Ellingsworth, who passed away the preceding Friday. The Reverend .1. 13. Webster of the Community M. E. church and E. H. Bird, bishop of the Mih'ord L. D. S. ward, both spoke and musical numbers included selections selec-tions by a choir made up of singers from both churches and a vocal solo .by Mrs. Lee Cray of Cedar City. Interment took place in the local cemetery. Elizabeth ElUnjrswprth Handley was born May 2T, 190S, in Gothenburg. Gothen-burg. Nebraska, where she spent the first six years of her life, the family going from there to Chelan, Washington, where they ire-sided three years. The family later made their home in Mansfield and Onrack, Washington, and (them in Minneapolis, Minne-apolis, Minnesota, coming from there to Milford, where Mr. Ellinas-worth Ellinas-worth conducted a store known as The Toggery for several years-Mrs. years-Mrs. Handley secured her elementary elemen-tary education in the various towns where the family resided, later attending at-tending Whitman college at M'nlla Walla, Washington. She Was married mar-ried to Mr. Handley February 23, 1932. in Salt Lake, residing there and in Milford until some six months ago when they took up their residence on a ranch near Widtsoe. in ea.-tern Utah. Mrs. Handley had a lovable disposition, dis-position, readily endearing herself to all those with whom she came in contact, con-tact, and innumerable friends sympathize sympa-thize with the bereaved husband and the members of her family. |
