Show LOCALS and PERSONALS Mrs. Tom Johansen is making a visit of several days with relatives in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Walter Weber lias had as a guest for the past week, Miss Marie Gildea, of Cambridge, Ohio. Miss Gildea was a former schoolmate of Mrs. Weber, and stopped over in Milford after spending the summer at Berkeley, California. Mr. and Mrs. Karl S. Carlton drove to Parowan Saturday to attend the Ramboullet Show. Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Strong, and son, Hal, of Salt Lake City, came down from that city to spend a few days with Mrs. Strong's parents, Mr. and Mr?. Win, Morlev and fami- ly. Miss Ethel Stanley has been enjoying en-joying her vacation in Milford to the utmost, having divided her time with Mrs. Melvin Stanley, Miss Bessie I Killam, Miss Vie Carter of Miners-ville, Miners-ville, Mrs. Walter Weber and also with the Robinsons, of Rocky Ford. Miss Stanley will leave this week for Ogden, where she will resume her duties at a teacher of the deaf. Mr. and Mrs. M. H. Pool and family fami-ly motored to St. George last Sunday. Sun-day. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Hickman ana children are here this week from Salt Lake. Sam is on vacation from his duties in the U. P. offices until the 30th. Miss Genevieve Price, of Salt Lake, visited friends here for two days the latter part of last week. She left Monday to begin a long trip to Cumberland, Maryland, where she will reside. Charlie Glenn came down from Provo to visit with his mother and Milford friends over the week end. |
