Show BLIND GIRL OF ST. GEORGE ADOPTS INTERESTING CAREER A career in a field that offers unlimited un-limited opportunity in the radio and entertainment work has been entered by a St. George girl. It is all the more interesting as the young lady has been blind since birth, but her talent promises to over-come this handicap, with possibilities that she may succeed far beyond the reaches of many not so afflicted. The Washington County News says: "Miss Ruby Nelson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Nelson, who is attending the Agnes Woodward school of whistling in Los Angeles, was presented in a recital feature in the Barker Brothers' auditorium Wednesday night. Miss Nelson, although al-though blind since birth, is an accomplished ac-complished whistler and pianist." |
