Show TELEPHONE COMPANY MAKES REDUCTIONS CHARGES LOWERED FOR CONNECTING NEW TELEPHONES Following the recent, nation-wide reduction of long distance telephone rates with another reduction, the Mountain States Telephone and Telegraph Tel-egraph company has announced substantially sub-stantially lower charges, effective March 1, for connecting new or additional ad-ditional telephone facilities in the home or office for changing existing exist-ing equipment. These are the specific reductions: The charge for connecting a residence telephone has been cut from S3. 50 to S2.50. The charge for connecting business telephone extensions has been reduced still more, from $3.50 to SI. 25. The charge for connecting residence telephone extensions has been reduced from $3.50 to $1.00, and the charge for connecting instruments already in place is now S1 00 regardless regard-less of the amount of equipment involved. in-volved.
