Show MINERSVILLE MAN DIES AT AGE OF 84 Geo. Baker, Sr., pa.;sed away Wednesday, Wed-nesday, June 29, at the home of his son Geo. Baker, Jr. at Minersville. He was born in Australia, January 1, 1848 and came to this country when just a small boy. He was unit ed in marriage to Mary A. Evans of Parowan in 1875, who passed away about five years ago. Mr. Baker leaves to mourn his loss two daughters, daugh-ters, Mrs. Grace Davis and Mrs. Mary Tinder of Milford and one son, George, with whom he has made his home for the past two years; also ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren. The deceased a very active church worker and was loved by all who knew him. At the time of his death he was 84 years old. The funeral services ser-vices took place from the L. D. S. chapel, Bishop Geo. Marshall in charge. The pall bearers were six grandsons and flower girls were six grandchildren. The floral offerings were many and beautiful. He was laid to rest in Minersville cemetery. |
