Show WEDDING RITES HELD THURSDAY GO TO PASADENA FOR HONEYMOON Mrs. Vivian Fern Berry and Dr- H. C. Hunter were married Thursday afternoon at three o'clock at the Methodist parsonage. The wedding ( van a private one, attended only by close friends. The contracting parties left immediately im-mediately for southern California, where they will remain for about ten days. While there, they will attend the Rose Carnival at Pasadena on NewYear'.s Day. '""Mrs. Hunter came from Osa-watomie, Osa-watomie, Kansas, to Milford about a year ago. She has been employed as a highly esteemed saleswoman at the J. C. Penney store. Her father, Alfred Webb, is a conductor on the Union Pacific system. Dr. Hunter is a veteran practioneor of medicine in Milford. He has been a resident here for many years and holds an honored place in the record '"' of civic activities of the town. He has been a prominent Red Cross worker work-er for years. In addition to his private practice, he is employed by the Union Un-ion Pacific system locally as its physician phy-sician and surgeon. 1 The newly married couple will return re-turn to Milford to live and will reside re-side on North Main street. |
