Show MINERSVILLE 1 Mra. Lola Dotson and children of Los Angeles, Calif., are here with relatives. re-latives. Mr. and Mrs. Alvin H. Baker and children of Beaver visited at the H. F. Baker home Thursday. Mr. and Mrs Marion Turley are receiving re-ceiving congratulations on the arrival of a baby boy. Miss Norma Marshall has returned home after spending the past month at Stockton, Utah. Mrs. Hazel Eyre of Adamsville was the guest of Mrs. Jennie Carter Wednesday Wed-nesday afternoon. Miss Olive Roberts has returned home after spending the past thhree months at Fillmore. Mr. and Mrs. Randell Banks spent the week end in Southern Utah. The Mothers Club spent Friday afternoon af-ternoon at Hanging Rock Park where they enjoyed a swim and an early supper cooked over a camp fire. Twelve members and five guests were present. A canyon party was held Saturday evening in honor of Mrs. Clarence Gillins who is leaving for Nevada and Miss Lola Roberts who is going to Hyand Boy to teach school. Those present: Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Eyre, Mr. and Mrs. Newell Marshall, Mr. and Mrs. Clair Gillins, Mr. and Mrs. Othello Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Marshall, Marian Roberts, Elva Hall, Effie Wood, Lillian Cartel Palhie athews, Louise Huntington, Merle White, Loretta Murdock, Herbert and Hartley Eyre, Henry Hall, Elmer Roberts, Ro-berts, Lorraine Dotson, Clarence Gillins Gil-lins Truman Bradfield, Tom Schow, Bill and Grant Pryor, Goldie and Clyde Hollingshead, Ronald Carter,. Norman Gillins, Eugent Myers and the guests of honor. Mrs. Alton Atkin was the honored guest at a Miscellanious shower Monday Mon-day evening. Many useful and lovely gifts were received, refreshments were served to thirty guests. The Mi-ka-nee girls and their leader Miss Effie Wood enjoyed a swim and lunch at Radium Warm Spring Tuesday. |
