Show RICHFIELD PLANS RACES AND RODEO FOR COUNTY FAIR (By Joseph L. Asbury) Sevier County announces a Big Race Meet and Rodeo to be held at the county fair grounds in Richfield on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, September 3, 4 and 5 under the auspices aus-pices of the Richfield Lions Club, co operating with the various other clubs and towns of the county. This event takes the place of the annual County Fair which regularly is held 'at this time of the year. The program as announced by W. L. Warner, general chairman appointed appoint-ed by President Guy Lewis of the Richfield Lions club, will include various var-ious racing events which lire expected to attract some of the fastest horses in the west. In addition there will be rodeo features, fea-tures, auto rjnees, and many other amusements. The bands from Salina, Richfield and Monroe will furnish music on various days. Boxing and dancing have been arranged for evening even-ing entertainment. Substantial purses purs-es are being offered for the races anil concessions are being let so that the affair will have the atmosphere of the old time carnival as well as the rodeo and racing attractions.
