Show FUNERAL SERVICES HELD SUNDAY FOR MAX ARCH CHILTON Max Arch Chilton, five year old son of L. E. and Mrs. May Chilton, died Friday at the Milford hospital from a ruptured appendix. Services were held for him Sunday afternoon from the Methodist church.- ' Little Max. was taken ill the early part of the week and at first tiie na- ture of his malady could not be determined. deter-mined. Later, when his case was cor- j rectly diagnosed he was taken to the hospital and underwent an operation j but failed to rally. 1 He was born in Milford five years ago. Though his time here was brief, it was redolent with happiness and brought joy to his parents, his brother and sister, and his little friends. The love the community bore him and the respect in which his parents are held were demonstrated by the many who gathered at the Methodis; j Church Sunday afternoon to attend the funeral services. ' ! Shepherd and Ray- j mond Taylor as the speakers paid tri-! bute to the innocent life and offered consolation to the bereaved parents, j Music was furnished by the choir with Mrs. Lee Gray as soloist. i Twelve of the child's little playmat- j es were flower bearers; the ladies of I the American Legion Auxiliary were honorary flower bearers and members ; of the Veterans of the Foreign Wars acted as pall bearers. Interment took place in the Milford cemetery, Mr. Taylor dedicating the grave. ISax is survived by his parents, his brother, Buddy, his sister, Carol Louise, Lou-ise, a grandfather and grandmother, and an aunt and uncle. |
