Show LOCALS and PERSONALS Mr. and Mrs. Carl Elmer drove up 'rom Milford last week to visit with Mr. and Mj-s. J. W. Underbill over he week-end. Millard County Chronicle. Proffessor and Mrs. M. Wilford Poulson and children, Earle, Helen, Vrdis and Robert, were the guests of VIr. and Mrs. Nolan A. Hollingshead ver the week-end. The visitors had lust returned from a vacation trip ipent at Bryce Canyon, and were en oute to Provo, where Prof. Poulson vill resume his duties at the B. Y. U. ;ummer school. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Allen and son, "teed, are spending their vacation at heir former home in Tooele. They jxpect to return here Saturday. w Mr. I Altman, propritor of the Progressive Clothes Shop, spent Sun-Jay Sun-Jay in Salt Lake visiting his wife and daughters, Lois, Maxine and Shirley. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Noorda, former owners of the Milford Bakery, spent a few hours visiting friends here last Saturday. They were en route to Yellowstone Park where they will spend the summer months. Mrs. M. Ashworth left Saturday of last week for Los Angeles, on a brief business trip. She was accompanied accom-panied by Mrs. LaRue Ashworth and Miss Ada Morgan. Mrs. John Killam and daughter, Virgie, are leaving Saturday for Los Angeles where they will upend two weeks with Mrs. Killam'g two sisters, Mrs. J. N. Gray and Mrs. F. W. Luedtke. The Bee Hive Girls met at the home of Bessie Killam Tuesday for their regular class-work. Roosevelt Hot Springs is now open to the public, and all are invited to spend an enjoyable day there. Adv. S. D. Atkin, son of Mrs. A. J. Atkin, At-kin, has brought in a well with a good flow of water on his farm which he purchased a year ago. He is making mak-ing improvements and has already put in a few acres of potatoes. Miss Margaret Williams who attended at-tended Henager's business college in Salt Lake last year, is spending her vacation here with Mr. and Mrs. Jack Williams. Mrs. J. M. Hughes and children returned re-turned Tuesday from a two week's stay in Farmington. Mr. and Mrs. Spcnce Schow, accompanied ac-companied by Mrs. McKinnon, motored motor-ed to Cedar City Friday evening. Mr. McKinnon was there on business and returned to Milford with them. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Smith left for Salt Lake City Sunday, where they will rpside. They leave many friends whose good wishes for their success and happiness go with them. Tom Martin and son, Bobby, returned re-turned from Salt Lake Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Guy Humblin and small son, arrived in Milford lust week to reside for a .short time. Mrs. Willard Nichols and sons returned re-turned Wednesday from an extended extend-ed stay in the Capitol city. George Hutchlngs of Beaver, visited visit-ed with his daughter, Mrs. Roy White, Sr., last week. The Misses Irene and Kathcrino Mumford and Margaret Litchfield were visiting in Caliente witli Leona Sherwood, last week. Mrs. Lois Hixon of Snlt Lake, wan a guest last week of Mm. Ceorgo LJtchfMd. |
