Show SCIENTISTS WILL MAKE SEARCH WEST OF TOWN Fossilized specimens from the early and middle Cambrian periods will be the objects of a search to be made by two noted scientists this autumn in the Crystal Peak area between Milford, Mil-ford, Utah, and Baker, Nev., near the state line, according to information released by R. E. Koffman, who -will assist in the work. The men are Dr. Charles E. Resser of the Smithsonian Institution, Washington, Wash-ington, and Dr. R. Endo, teacher of geology at Mukden, Manchuria, in a school supported by the Japanese perial railway. Interest of the pair was drawn to the Crystal Peak area I by the efforts of Koffman, who long !.as !,i.on intrigued by discoveries he made there, including fossilized sea urchins, eels, and a part of a saurian of ihe Cambrian age. |
