Show SEVENTY PLAYERS COMPETE IN TENNIS TOURNAMENTS The Milford Tennis Club has completed com-pleted a remarkable program of competition, com-petition, in which some seventy players play-ers sought honors in seven different tournaments. In the final match Ted McCulley and Robert Killamj won the men's doubles, defeating W. T.. Mor-Iey Mor-Iey and Roy Coleman,Jr., by scores of 1-6. 6 1. 6-4. The winners hnd a ro.il battle on their hands, losing the first set through over-confidence and being pushed hard in the third set. However, How-ever, MicCulley and Killam. undoubtedly undoubt-edly displayed the best tennis of the tournament, defeating several outstanding out-standing teams. In the women's doubles dou-bles Mildred and Bessie Killam proved far superior to any other team entered. enter-ed. Their overwhelming victory in tho finals was characteristic of their progress through the tournament. In the final match Mrs. Morley and Mrs. Root were outstroked to the tune of 6-3,6- 1.
