Show SOCIETY The Ladies Auxiliary to the B of R. T. Lodge were delightfully entertained entertain-ed Monday evening at the home of Mrs. Mildred Rochek, at a handkerchief handker-chief shower in honor of Mrs. Albina Muir, Mrs. F. W. McKay and Mrs. W. C. Harrison. The committee appointed ap-pointed were Mildred Rochek and Maurine McMurphy. The following members were present. Mrs. Albina Muir, Mrs. Fred McKay, Mrs. Arvilla Sperry, Mrs. A. L. Webb, Mrs. Clara McFadden, Mrs. Vivian Hunter, Mrs. B. E. Hutchins, Mrs. Ann Lee, Mrs. Myrtle Mills, Mrs. Ella Edwards, Mrs. Harrison, Mrs. McMurphy, Mrs. Mildred Mil-dred Rochek and Miss Honora Hut-chins. Hut-chins. A jolly time was spent in playing play-ing Bingo. Prizes for high, Arvilla Sperry; low, Mrs. Harrison. A delicious delic-ious luncheon, was served at a late hour. ' lMrs. F. W. Gospill and daughter, Miss Gladys, entertained at bridge Friday afternoon. The following ladies lad-ies were present Mrs. F. B. Robinson, Miss Kendall Frankie, Mrs. Walter James, of Blackrock, Mrs. Merrill Miller, Mil-ler, Mrs. A. Bybee, Mrs. C. C. Sloan, Mrs. C. E. Moore, Mrs. S. W. Mobious, Mrs. Wm. Cocrane, Mrs. D. M. Burns, Mrs. Walter Weber, Mrs. Wm. Mor-ley. Mor-ley. Score prizes: for points, Mrs. Robinson; honors, Mirs. Morley; consolation, con-solation, Miss Frankia Delicious refreshments re-freshments were served. The 50-50 Club Mrs. Wmv Cochrane entertained the fifty-fifty club at her home on Thursday. Thurs-day. Members present were Mr. and Mrs. R. M. Copeland, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. E. Mloore, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Morley, Mr. and Mrs. Cochrane. Prizes Priz-es for high, Mr. and Mrs. Morley: low, Mirs. Copeland and C. E. Moore. A delicious hot dinner was served, the table being beautifully decorated in sweet peas. m Jolly Stitchers Mrs. F. R. Levi was hostess to the Jolly Stitchers Thursday afternoon. A deligbful time was spent in sewing and chatting. The following ladies were present Mrs. Jas. Lang, Mrs. S. W. Stoker, Mrs. E. H. Bird, Mrs. F. L. Osborn, Mrs. N. C. Schow and Mrs. Karl Levi. Delicious refreshments refresh-ments were served. Miss Jayne Sloan delightfully entertained en-tertained at bridge Thursday evening, ' in honor of Miss Kathrine McKeon, of Riverside, Calif. Those present were Score prizes; high, Miss Betty Mur-dock, Mur-dock, Phylis and Dorothy Levi, Mrs. Jack Ashworth, of Los Angeles, Calif. Score prizes; high, MissBet ty Mur-idock; Mur-idock; low, Miss Dorothy Levi. Dainty ! refreshments were served. The hostess hos-tess was assisted by her mother. Mrs. Jeanette Kohler delightfully ! entertained her bridge club, Friday , cvr-ning. Those present were Maurine Mau-rine McMurphy, Louise Campbell, I Mildred Rochek, Vera Vincent, Mil-drcd Mil-drcd Coon, Ruby A.shworth and Leah Richards invited guest. Score prizes: points, Mrs. McMurphy; honors, Mrs. Ashworth. At eleven o'clock a delicious delic-ious luncheon was served, i I Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Hillary and mother Mrs. Stanchfield who are leav-! leav-! ing soon to make their home in Calif., were dinner guests at the Sloan home on Stoddard street Tuesday evening. Harry Livergood was also a guest. The Pierian club met Monday evening even-ing with Mrs. Hughes. An interesting interest-ing program was rendered. The English En-glish lesson was given by Mrs. Sherwood; Sher-wood; the Question Box was another interesting feature of the program. Mrs. Roy White read an article entitled entitl-ed "A Foreign Attack on Prohibition." It was decided to adjourn the club meetings until the last Monday in September.
