Show DEATH CALLS MRS. HANNAH ZABRISK1E Mrs. Hannah Zabriskie, wife of Sheldon Zabriskie ,of Milford, died at the Milford hospital, Nov. 12, after an illness of two weeks of influenza meningitis. Hannah Thelma Gillins Zabriskie, was born at Minersville, Sept. 28, 1897, she was the daughter of Mr. and Henry Rl Gillins, of that place. She was united in marriage to Sheldon Shel-don A. Zabriskie on August 11, 1917. The family moved to Milford from Minersville in 1926, where they since made their home. Besides her husband, Mrs. Zabriskie Zabris-kie is survived by six children: Verle, Isa, Theo,- Eleanor, Ruth and Sheldon, Shel-don, Jr. her father, Henry R. Gillins, and eleven brothers and sisters. Funeral services were held in the ward chapel at Minersville Sunday afternoon, Bishop Marshall taking charge. "I need thee every hour," "I'll go where you want me to go Dear Lord," and "Sometime We'll Understand," were sung by the choir. Prayers were offered by Truman Rollins Rol-lins and F. D. Williams. The speakers speak-ers were H. F. Baker, George H. Eyre, Dr. C. R. Parrish and Bishop Bird. A duet "In the Upper Garden," was given by Mrs. Darwin Marshall and Sylva Rollins. Solo, Ireta Mortimer. Mor-timer. Interment was in the Minersville cemetery, the grave being dedicated by Bishop George Marshall. Immediately Immed-iately after these services, short services ser-vices were held by the Rebekahs, of which Mrs. Zabriskie was a member. o |
