Show BEAVER BRIEFS Mr. and Mrs. Jack Yardley have moved to Hatch, Garfield county, for the summer and early fall months. Mrs. Wilford Cartwright has returned re-turned from Provo and Salt Lake where she visited relatives. 'Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Jackson are rejoicing over the arrival of a baby boy, born Monday, June 10. Miss Emma McAlister left Thursday Thurs-day for California to make her home. Mrs. Sam Brinkerhoff entertained Thursday in honor of her little girl, Jean's birthday. Twelve of Jean's little lit-tle girl friends were present. Mr. and Mrs. Russel Parson and their father, Mr. Parson, left Wednesday Wed-nesday for their home in California, after a week's visit with Mrs. L. E. Harris and family. Wallace Yardley has returned from Salt Lake after a week's visit with friends. Charles Lindsey is home to visit his family, from the west end of the county, where he is doing some mining min-ing work. Mr. and Mrs. Othello Pearce were called to Joseph on account of the death of Mrs. Pearce's father, Mr. Bohn. Mr. and Mrs. Aie Murdock have returned from Ogden, where they spent a week visiting their sister,' Mrs. Bennett. Miss Erma Fields of Lyman, Wyo., is spending her summer vacation with her aunt, Mrs. James Hoopes. Mrs. Isabel Denny of Riverside, Calif., is here visiting her sister, Mrs. Agnes Burk and other relatives. .Mr. and Mrs. Edward Houden of Cedar City, spent the week end with their brother and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Ashworth. Mr. and Mrs. James Yardley spent Sunday at Fillmore, the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Kesler. Mrs. Thelma Milling of Cedar City, is the guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. W. Smith. Mrs. George Valentine, Jr., returned re-turned Monday from a week's visit at Parowan, with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dalton. n |
