Show O O j MLNERSVILLE NOTES j By Special Correspondent O Mr. Marion Rollins who ha3 spent the past year at Cowley, Wyo., returned re-turned home where he will visit his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Horace Cor-bridge. Cor-bridge. Miss Maud Myers left Monday for Lyman, Wyoming, where she will spend her vacation. The Misses Lillian and Dorothy O'Grain and Annie Robbins of California, Cali-fornia, visited last week end here with Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Dolton. The Misses Le Vern Gentry and Zola Smith of Beaver, and Bill Douer and Harry B. Leigh", of Cedar City, visited friends here Sunday. Lorin Hall and daughter, Adeliade of Compton, Calif., spent Friday here as the guests of Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Hall. Miss Grace Joseph returned home Sunday from Salt Lake, where she spent the past week. Mrs. Virgene Jameson spent the week end at Thermo, as the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Owen Moore. Mr. and Mrs. Clair Gillins and son, Lorraine, of Milford, visited here Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Eyre and son, Robert, of Milford, visited here Tuesday. Tues-day. The following ladies of Beaver, were visitors at Relief Society Tuesday: Tues-day: Susie Murdock, Ella Smith, Jennie Tanner, Mattie Hoops and Mrs. Samuel White. Mrs. John McKnight left Monday for Caliente, Nevada. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Corbridge and family, who have spent the past few months at Bristol, Nevada, have moved here to make their home. Mrs. H. F. Baker arrived home Saturday after spending the past two weeks at Cedar City. Dan Smithson of Milford, spent two days in our town this week. Dr. Warren Shepherd and son, Quenn, of Salt Lake City, visited here Saturday evening. Mr. J. R. Wheeler and Willard Shepherd of Beaver, spent Monday morning here. Entertains Auxiliary ' Mrs. Rozella Eyre entertained the members of the ladies of the American Ameri-can Legion Auxiliary Thursday evening. even-ing. The time was spent in discussing discuss-ing a way to get more members and a short program was given, after which refreshments were served to twenty-two guests. Mrs. Eyre was assisted in serving by her daughters, Thurma and Zelma. The Misses Pauline and Prescinda Mathews entertained the Gleaner Girls Wednesday night. The time wa3 spent in sewing, after which refreshments refresh-ments were served to nine guests. |
