Show MILFORD WINNER IN COUNTY TRACK MEET TAKE FIRST PLACE BY NARROW MARGIN OVER BEAVER HIGH With the three high schools of the county competing, Milford High won in a track meet held on the local field last Friday afternoon. Milford's margin of points was rather slim however, as the scores were Milford 44, Beaver 41, while Minersville was a strong third with 30. Milford's strength lay in the field events, while Beaver was strong in the middle-distance runs, scoring a slam in two of them. Minersville copped their points mainly in the dashes, and the winning of the half- mile relay. The meet was run off in frigid weather, yet some excellent marks were made for an early-season meet.
