Show NEW MANAGER FOR ORPHEUM ARRIVES RUSCHMEIER TAKES i OUTZEN'S PLACE AT I LOCAL SHOW-HOUSE McDermond and Thornburg, owners own-ers of the Orpheum theatre, announce an-nounce a change in the local management manage-ment of their show-house. William Outzen, who has managed it for the past year, passes the helm back to S. C. Ruschmeier, whom Mr. Outzen succeeded about a year ago. Mr. Outzen and his estimable family fami-ly leave this week for Richfield. They have innumerable friends here in Milford who are sorry to see them go but who extend best wishes for their happiness in whatever they may do. Mr. Ruschmeier, the new manager, is well known in Milford, having managed the house through its first year, and who for the past year, has been in Cedar City with the Orpheum theatre there. Mr. Ruschmeier brings the news that there will be some improvements im-provements made in the theare proper, ' such as redecorating and repairing j in general. Also, Mr. Ruschmeier ' announces that they will install in a I short time the latest in musical ac-i ac-i companiment to the pictures, which will bring to the Orpheum some of the original musical scores as played by the symphony orchestras and organs or-gans at the New York showings. The Orpheum in the past has always al-ways had the pick of the pictures of the larger producers-, and the same will be continued under the new management, as next week on Monday, Mon-day, Tuesday and Wednesday, Richard Rich-ard Barthelmess, in "The Patent ; Leather Kid," is showing. Having seen this picture, we can endorse it as one of the most outstanding of the i year. i The future bookings of the Orpheum Orph-eum show such pictures as Charlie, , Chaplin in 'The Circus'; 'Ramona,' wih Dolores Del Rio; (this picture was made in its entity in southern l Utah); 'Seventh Heaven'; John Gil- bert and Greta -Garbo in 'Love'; Lillian Gish in 'The Enemy'; 'The Student Prince' and many more of i like caliber. |
