Show M. E. G. LOSER IN IMPORTANT TILT HIGH SCHOOL TRAVELS AND IS DEFEATED Milford M. E. G. dropped an important im-portant game of basketball at Cali-ente Cali-ente Monday evening, bowing to the Nevadans, 36 to 19. The locals have no alibi to offer, saying they just couldn't hit the hoop. The same teams meet here Saturday Satur-day night. If Milford loses again, they must drop out of the U. P. pennant pen-nant chase. If they win, a third game will be -played on a neutral floor to decide which team represents the M. E. G. in the titular race. The game here will be a hot one. Shops Play Next Week The Milford Athletic club, or the Shops team, opens the regular season sea-son by playing the Provo A. C. here the 12th of this month. H. S. Drops Three The high school team has fared disastrously in its pre-season games so far. In a trip last week over the mountains, games were dropped to Panguitch, Circleville and Marysvale.
